What are microcredentials?

Microcredentials are short, targeted courses designed to quickly build the skills employers need right now. They help you learn a specific, job‑ready capability, making them a smart option if you're looking to grow in your current role or step into a new career.

You can take a microcredential as a standalone course, or in some cases, complete a series of courses to earn a full microcredential program certificate. This flexibility allows you to learn at your own pace while gaining credentials that employers recognize.
