Payment schedule

Programs Payment due dates
Programs starting in September 2023 First-term payment due: August 4, 2023
50% tuition (65% for international students) + student association fee + health and dental plan + virtual health care fee + college services fee). Payment includes a non-refundable tuition deposit ($200 domestic/$C1,000 international). If you've already paid the tuition deposit, your payment total will be decreased by the same amount.
Second-term payment due: January 4, 2024
50% tuition (35% for international students)
Programs starting in January 2024 First-term payment due: November 24, 2023
50% tuition (65% for international students) + student association fee + health and dental plan + virtual health care fee + college services fee). Payment includes a non-refundable tuition deposit ($200 domestic/$C1,000 international). If you've already paid the tuition deposit, your payment total will be decreased by the same amount.

Canada student loans 100% tuition + student association fee + health and dental plan + virtual health care fee + college services fee are deducted from the first, main, loan disbursement.

These deadline dates will only be deferred if you can provide documentation that you've applied for a student loan or your tuition is being paid by a sponsoring agency. You're required to provide your Canada student loan file number or official documentation from your sponsor.

Payment options

When making a payment, have your student ID number ready. If paying online or by phone, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Visa Debit.

  • Online – Use the MyNSCC "Make a Payment" service and pay by credit card or Visa Debit.
  • Phone – Call any Campus Business Office and pay by credit card or Visa Debit.
  • In-person - Visit any NSCC Campus and pay by debit, cash, or credit card.
  • Mail – Pay by mail using a personal cheque or money order payable to NSCC Admissions. Please include your student ID and name on the cheque. Mail cheques and money orders to the address on the left.
  • Electronic bill payments – Pay through online/telephone banking:
    • Add Nova Scotia Community College as the payee.
    • Account number: Student ID number (without the W).
  • Canada student loan – If you've been approved for a student loan, or are waiting for approval, you'll need to contact your campus prior to the tuition deadline.

Payment options for international students

International students are encouraged to use CIBC International Student Pay; it's a faster and easier method that allows you to pay from anywhere in the world in your preferred currency.
