October meeting

At the October meeting, the IST Council met to advance key priorities and initiatives. The meeting focused on the 2026-2027 Program Mix and Screening.
Status: Complete

Council decisions

Members approved the 2026-2027 IST Program Mix and the equipment list for the first four trade sprints. As well they approved the generic and sector specific assessment questions.
Status: Ongoing

Revisit of what’s in flight

Members discussed the work that is currently underway and received an update on the Attendance Policy implementation.
Status: In progress

Screening processes (phases, milestones)

Members discussed assessment ranking and scores, as well as the need for a process for waitlisted students.
Status: In progress
