Community and cultural supports for students
When seeking support, many students find it helpful and reassuring to connect with someone who shares similar lived experiences, cultural backgrounds, or identities. At NSCC, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive community. Through the Office of Black Student Success (for African Nova Scotian/Black students), the Office of L’nu Student Success (supporting Mi’kmaw/Indigenous students), and dedicated supports and services for 2SLGBTQ+ and international students, learners can access resources tailored to their unique needs and experiences.
There are a number of supports and services available to help you succeed in your program.
