More information

Working in the salon gives our students the hands-on training they need as part of their 2-year cosmetology program. Please keep the following things in mind when coming to Beyond the Mirror:

  • Because our students are still learning, services may take longer as they tend to be more cautious and seek guidance from their faculty.
  • Students are knowledgeable and well trained.
  • Faculty have the right to refuse a service for any of the following reasons:
    • The student hasn’t been fully trained in a particular service and is unable to perform it yet.
    • The hair analysis by both the student and faculty shows that the health of the hair would be compromised by performing that service.
    • If the health and safety of the student or faculty becomes a concern for any reason.
