  • Fit school around work, family and other commitments. Depending on your program, study full time or part time, online or in person. Some programs also offer evening classes and several start dates throughout the year.
  • Get credit for what you already know. Interested in earning your High School Graduation Diploma for Adults through ALP at NSCC? Previous high school credits may count toward your program, and you may also receive credit for learning from work, training, volunteering and life experience.
  • Get the courses you need for your next program. Complete missing prerequisites for college or university, or strengthen your English through the writing, research and presentation skills you’ll use in post-secondary study.
  • Get support along the way. Depending on your program, support can include faculty advisors, small classes, one-on-one help, mentorship and assistance with barriers like childcare and transportation. You’ll have people and resources to help you reach your goals.
