College sets tuition rates for 2026-27
Jun. 30, 2026 – Media Release
The College has released tuition rates for the upcoming academic year.
Following approval by NSCC’s Board and the provincial government, tuition costs for the 2026-27 academic year have been set. They will increase by 5% for both domestic and international students – or approximately $180 and $645 per year respectively.
This is the College’s first tuition increase for domestic students since 2021 and the second for international students in the last 5 years.
“The increases are needed to offset rising operational costs and support essential student-facing services and program delivery technology renewal,” says Glenda Barrett, Chief Financial Officer. “Before raising tuition rates, the College first looked for operational efficiencies and administrative savings to secure a balanced budget and support a sustainable future.”
As the Province’s strategic workforce partner, the College is continuously working to focus on what is essential. This includes delivering career-oriented programs aligned with industry needs and supporting students to graduate ready for the workforce.
With support from the Provincial government, the College will continue to offer tuition at no cost for students enrolled in the Adult Learning Program.
