Dental Assistant Level 2

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. At Bridgewater Smiles, we strive to create beautiful smiles for the whole family and offer a warm welcoming environment.

You will be accountable for:

• Chairside assisting in all facets of treatment
• Patient education, comfort and workflow
• Taking digital radiographs, intraoral impressions, and scanning
• Digital dental charting, working with the Dentist(s) to document findings
• Engaging patients and responding to questions
• Sterilization, following proper protocols
• Organize, and maintain a clean and sterile clinical area
• Dental supplies, Instrument and equipment maintenance and monitoring
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What will help you to be happy & successful in this role?

• Level II Dental Assistant Certification in Province of NS
• Experience an asset
• A positive attitude with the ability to work cohesively with fellow team members to provide an atmosphere of trust, respect, and cooperation
• Great time management and organizational skills
