Course overview

The course is designed to meet STCW requirements for the application of leadership and teamwork skills, in accordance with the 2010 Manila Amendments, specifically as stated in tables A-II/1, A-III/1 and A-III/6. To provide the seafarer at the management level with non-technical skills in human factors in order to control the operation for the ship and care for the people on board.

Condition: Students must have a Certificate of Competency at least at the Officer Level (Nautical, Engineering or Electro-Tech) and at least 6 months of sea service after obtaining the Certificate of Competency
