Complete 3 courses, earn your microcredential
The Greenhouse Practices and Operational Fundamentals microcredential is made up of 3 courses delivered through a combination of online and in-person learning.
Course 1: Greenhouse Theory
Understand different greenhouse types, their structural components and their functions.
Course 2: Plant Propagation
Get hands-on experience in a local greenhouse practising plant care, propagation and workplace safety.
Course 3: Greenhouse Operations
Learn to evaluate greenhouse operations and make informed logistical decisions.
Admission requirements
- Completion of grade 10
- At least 3 years of work or volunteer experience in any sector, which can be non-consecutive and complete in Canada or abroad
- Physically able to stand for at least 3 hours and lift up to 15 kg / 33 lbs
