To participate in this course you must be 16 years of age or older and may be required to complete a fitness test. All students registering for Marine Emergency Duties (MED) training must complete the Fatigue Management at Sea e-course, as required by Transport Canada. The course is free for Canadian seafarers who have a valid Canadian Document Number (CDN). Proof of course completion must be submitted to NSCC before a MED certificate can be issued.
