2025 Touch of Class gala cancelled due to weather
Apr. 02, 2025 – Media Release
Dartmouth, NS – Due to the forecasted mix of snow and rain, NSCC’s 2025 A Touch of Class food and beverage gala, originally scheduled for April 3, has been cancelled. While this decision is disappointing, it was made with the safety of students, faculty and guests in mind.
All those who have bought tickets will be issued refunds. Any funds used to date, were raised from previous Touch of Class events to support this annual function.
Each year, Touch of Class showcases the talent and dedication of NSCC’s Culinary, Baking, Hospitality and Tourism students. Months of planning and preparation went into this year’s event and the College sincerely thanks all those involved for their hard work and commitment.
Although the public event will not proceed, organizers are already planning how they will help repurpose some of their work through various initiatives over the next couple of weeks.
We appreciate the continued support from the broader community and look forward to welcoming guests to Touch of Class next year.
