College sets tuition rates for 2025-26

May. 21, 2025 – Media Release

The College has released tuition rates for the upcoming academic year.

Following approval by NSCC’s Board and the provincial government, tuition costs for the 2025-26 academic year have been set and will remain the same for domestic students. Tuition for international students will increase by 10% – or approximately $1,170 per year.

This is the College’s first tuition increase for international students since the fall of 2021, and will be used to offset increasing operational costs, and support services for international students, including academic advising, mental health resources and career counseling.

With support from the Province, the College will continue to offer tuition at no cost for qualified candidates in the Nova Scotia School for Adult Learners.

As Nova Scotia’s Community College, we continue to work to keep our commitment to offer programming that is high quality, accessible and affordable.

Tuition information for international and domestic students for the 2025-26 academic year, along with detailed program costs and fees are available on our website.

About Nova Scotia Community College

NSCC is located in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded territory and traditional homeland of the Mi’kmaq Nation. This land is governed by the treaties of Peace and Friendship, which the Mi’kmaq and the British Crown first signed in 1726. The College is committed to building Nova Scotia's economy and quality of life through education and innovation, transforming Nova Scotia one learner at a time. NSCC offers more than 140 career-oriented programs throughout the province at our 14 campuses, including our online eCampus. Programs are offered through five academic schools – Access, Education and Language; Business and Creative Industries; Health and Human Services; Technology and Environment; and Trades and Transportation. These reflect Nova Scotia’s labour market needs and opportunities. An annual survey of NSCC graduates shows that 90% are employed one year after graduation, most in their field of study, with 93% of those employed living and working in Nova Scotia.
