Nova Scotia needs early education gurus

Early childhood educators (ECEs) have important roles to play in the development of children and youth. And with Nova Scotia rolling out a pre-primary program for four-year-olds across the province, employment-ready ECEs are needed now more than ever.

To meet this demand, NSCC's Akerley Campus is now offering our popular Early Childhood Education program.

In just two years, you can complete the ECE courses and be ready to join the workforce. Our in-demand ECE graduates are qualified to work with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children in a variety of settings (e.g., licensed daycares, family resource centres, early intervention clinics and public health services).

NSCC's Admissions team is currently accepting applications for March 2020. To reserve a spot in our Dartmouth ECE program, apply today.
