About the Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. A commitment to inclusive education is essential, particularly for working with children with disabilities.

Duties:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity.
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
  • Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support the diverse needs of all students, including those with special education requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and classroom activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other necessary documentation.
  • Utilize technology for classroom management and educational purposes, ensuring effective computer operation for lesson planning and communication.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with early childhood education trends.

Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education is required.
  • Experience working in a classroom setting with young children.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy classroom environment are essential.
  • A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive setting is critical for success in this role.
