That all sounds great, but what does a workday as a Surveyor with us look like?

• Collect, transfer, calculate, and draft surveying data using specialized instruments to create plans or mark the layout of upcoming construction;
• Provide data related to alignment, elevation, orientation, and dimensions for various land types or infrastructures (industrial or commercial complexes, buildings, etc.);
• File and update all information related to the position;
• Collaborate with foremen and superintendents to optimize operations;
• Be responsible for leveling different types of slabs (flat, sloped);
• Determine and mark elevations for concrete pours;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• Competency cards such as : Working at Heights or fall protection, WHMIS 2015 and Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 steps;
• A Diploma of Vocational Studies or a College Diploma in surveying is considered an asset;
• Comfort using IT equipment (software, calculators, etc.);
• Experience as a surveyor on construction sites.
