It's all well and good, but what does a day of work as a Crane Operator with us look like?

• Moving and lifting loads, equipment, and materials using the crane according to instructions;
• Performing pre-work inspections and calculating crane capacities and weights in preparation for rigging and lifting;
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubricating cranes.

Qualifications

What you will need:

• Possess the certifications to operate a tower crane in the province of Nova Scotia;
• Having already operated a tower crane;
• Being in good physical shape, because yes, climbing up and down a crane keeps you fit;
• Knowing how to communicate effectively with your team.
