That's all well and good, but what is a day of work as a Crane Signalman with us?

  • Select equipment such as slings, shackles, and chains, according to the weights and sizes of loads;
  • Safely rig loads;
  • Signal to crane operators the safe movement of equipment;
  • Ensure a safety perimeter during load movement maneuvers;
  • Perform tasks such as picking up materials to ensure a safe work area;
  • All other related tasks.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

  • Skills cards such as: Working at Heights or fall protection, WHMIS 2015, and 4-step Health and Safety Awareness;
  • Good physical condition, because yes, formwork keeps you in shape!
  • The ability to work in a team; with a gang like us, we're not worried that you'll find the ideal partner!
  • Ability to adapt to the temperature; yes, working outdoors also means putting on an extra layer from time to time!
