Rosedale Home for Special Care is home to 39 residents and is located at 4927 Hwy 10 in New Germany a picturesque little village situated on the LaHave River 25 km north of the town of Bridgewater on the beautiful South Shore. We are currently seeking two full-time summer students to join our recreation team. If you have a desire to work with the elderly and if you are passionate about enriching the lives of seniors and you wish to build on your skills and experience, we encourage you to apply. Duties include: Assistance with daily activities set up and delivery. Assisting residents with physical/mental deficits to participate in meaningful activities.
Must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment.
Must be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*.Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations.
*International students are not eligible.
