We are a friendly group at the Hooked Rug Museum of North America. Our museum is setup very much like an art gallery but with each exhibit being of historical significance in celebrating our heritage with this very old and traditional art/craft. We are open 7 days a week from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
Duties will include:
Greeting visitors, assisting customers with sales in our Fibre Arts Market Place, Light cleaning. providing information to the public, demonstrating rug hooking and other tasks/projects as assigned.
This will be a 5 day week (including weekend work) for 9 weeks starting the end of June through to the end of August.
Must be enrolled in post secondary education, have own transportation and be good with math (for sales purposes). We also need you to be personable, courteous, friendly and an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude!
