About the Position

Learn the ins and outs of managing a busy catering operation at Bird's Nest Cafe.  We're a day time cafe that also does corporate breakfast and lunch catering.  We're currently expanding our operation, so be a part of our growing team!  

You'll asssist the catering manager with daily cooking tasks, preparing sandwiches, salads, soups, baked goods, and sauces.  You'll also have a hand in scheduling catering orders, planning orders with customers, working with our online ordering and invoicing software, and executing orders on time and with top-notch presentation.  

Qualifications

  • You must have a natural sense of customer service,
  • Experience cooking and an understanding of classical cooking techniques,
  • Be organized and focused,
  • Thrive in a fast-paced setting with pressure and deadlines,
  • Work well with a team, and
  • Have a willingness to learn!
