Job description
Duties- Perform maintenance and repairs on various types of light equipment, including but not limited to truck, Kubota equipment- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine the best course of action for repair- Disassemble and reassemble equipment components as needed- Operate equipment for testing and diagnostic purposes- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs- Assists in repairs in heavy duty equipment as needed, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, and loaders- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Experience: mechanical: 2 years (preferred)License/Certification: Class 5 Licence (preferred) Journeyman - Red Seal (preferred)Trade Certificate (preferred)

Qualifications- Red Seal certification in Automotive Service Technician- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician with light equipment repair- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals- Experience with heavy equipment and familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus- Proficient in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
