Join the Inglis Jewellers team as their Media and Marketing Assistant Manager during our manager’s maternity leave. This is a term position for 12 months.
You will work alongside the current manager to create daily social media posts, update the website, photograph products for advertising and website use, create monthly newsletters, organize in-store events, and more up until their leave, then take on the position full time.
This role includes working with Shopify to fulfill online orders, providing customer service to online customers, and keeping the website up to date with new and sold-out products. This requires working with our company's internal inventory and POS system. Experience with such systems is a major asset, but can be taught on site.
An understanding of social media trends and ability to interact with followers/fellow small businesses is an important skill to have. This role requires the individual to respond to inquiries made via Instagram and Facebook messenger, as well as e-mails from the contact form on our website in a timely manner. Digital copywriting is a daily practice.
Apart from these roles, the individual will also collaborate with colleagues to create radio and television campaigns, as well as develop new advertisements via social media. This would allow the individual to express their creativity and grow their skills and abilities in the digital marketing, photography, event management and business fields.
This position is to be filled by the end of May 2024.
