About the Position

Position is for a safety advisor to oversee operations at an event site with 100+ persons on site. Successful candidate will be required to be on site for approximately 19 consecutive days (including weekends). Tasks will be focused on observation and support of ground crews. No disciplinary responsibilities.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

Health and Safety systems training
Understanding of NS Provincial Health and Safety regulatory requirement
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in busy and high traffic conditions (equipment and people)
Experience on working sites is preferred
Ability to spend extended time walking and on foot. Stair and/or uneven ground may be factor
to provide own CSA approved protective footwear
to be fluent in English (other language skills considered as benefit)
