As a strategic partner and the primary supplier to ACL Design Build Solutions, a prominent company specializing in residential and lifestyle developments across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario, we hold a pivotal role in shaping vibrant communities. We are hiring immediately for multiple Welders to work in our production line environment.

Located in Mount Uniacke, NS, CMA Building Systems is perfectly situated to service all areas of Nova Scotia and to employ talented individuals from Hants County and surrounding areas. With a state-of-the-art plant facility housing cutting edge equipment and technology, we offer a challenging and rewarding work environment that allows for growth and new learning for those with experience or looking to gain experience.

You are responsible to fabricate steel stud wall panel frames using MIG welders and automatic welding machinery, including:

  • Review sequencing list to organize work to achieve production requirements.
  • Interpret shop drawings used to assemble steel stud panels.
  • Measure and prepare light gauge sheet metal materials for welding.
  • Using MIG welding machine, complete welds to form wall panel.
  • Move wall panel forms to hydraulic lifting table using jib crane.
  • Operate hydraulic lifting table and complete under panel welds.
  • Transition finished panel frame to sheathing station via rolling racks.
Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week

Qualifications

  • Completed a program in either Welding, Metal Fabrication or a related discipline and/or relevant experience.
