Highland Landscapes is looking for an ambitious, hardworking, positive individual to work with our landscape crew. Landscape construction generally includes topsoil and sodding, planting trees, installing pavers and wall stone and landscape maintenance. This can be a career position; we will assist you with training. Highland provides any PPE and tools required, after probation period.
Basic Requirements:
•Reliable transportation.
•Work safely and effectively in a construction or farm environment.
•Steel toe boots, current Basic First Aid Certification and WHIMIS 2015Assets:
•Proficiency with common hand tools, power tools & machinery
•Construction, landscaping, horticulture, and/or farming experience
•Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
•Certification or other horticulture education would be considered an asset.
•Class 5 or Class 1 license
•Operating skills for typical landscape equipment such as excavator or skid steer.
