Job description
We are currently seeking casual Banquet Server’s for our clients in the Halifax, NS area.
THE ROLE
Setting meal and meeting rooms. Proper table setting will be discussed during the training.- Serving meals and beverages. Delivering coffee, snacks or meals to meeting rooms.- Trays are carried on your shoulder, weighing approximately 30 pounds. There are 10 plates per tray.- Maintaining a friendly, positive and professional attitude at all times.- Dismantling of meeting rooms/resetting of tables, chairs and dishes for next function.- Other duties may include, general clean up and tiding of catering area. Putting away linen, maintaining catering storage area, preparing equipment or polishing cutlery.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Customer service oriented- Able to lift over 30 lbs;- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
WHAT IS OFFERED
Weekly pay.- Casual shifts available/on call.- Day shifts and evening shifts.
