In Guiding, there are many opportunities for individuals who identify as women members to enjoy Guiding- from Unit Leadership to Committee involvement.
Unit Leaders are vital to the success of Girl Guides. As a unit leader, you'll join a team of volunteers to run the unit, plan meetings, and deliver awesome activities.
If you'd like to become a leader, we'll support you to complete our New Guider Learning Path and additional programming.
You don't need to be an expert, just willing to share your time!
Guiding provides:
* Leadership for Girl's units, implementing the program according to the methods, policies, standards and rules of the organization.
* Administrative support through Councils and Committees, advice, assistance and training for adult members through such positions as District Guiders, Advisers and Trainers.
* Support to the organization
Volunteer for approximately 3 hours per wee
All persons who identify as women over the age of majority in their province or territory that are applying to be members of Girl Guides of Canada.
