Responsibilities:
Completing estimating take-offs and preparation of quotes and tendered bids. Executing a variety of project management administrative tasks such as scheduling and billing. Managing project documents such as the project contract, budget, schedule or scope, as directed by Chief Estimator and Superintendent. Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks. Monitoring project progress and creating project status reports. Directing Project Coordinators with respect to administrative tasks.
Graduation from Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Management Technology
Past project coordinating and estimating experience considered an asset
Experience in Heavy Civil Construction is required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently
