About the Position

Red Seal Journeyperson     

We are looking for a journeyperson electrician to work on residential and commercial locations for our busy and growing electrical company. Monday to Friday full time hours. 

 ·        Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring

·        Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or devices

·        Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements

·        Use ladders, scaffolding, platform, and lifts to work on electrical systems in residential homes, on roadside poles and in commercial properties

·        Maintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition and can operate or be used safely; report any issues to immediate supervisor

·        Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components

·        Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards

·        Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning

·        Complete required documentation of repairs and service information

·        Ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies and parts

·        Troubleshoot problems and make timely repairs

Qualifications

·        Completed electrician apprenticeship

·        Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

·        Ability to read blueprints
