Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or customer service is highly desirable.Experience with cleaning and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in a professional setting is an asset.Skills:Strong organizational and administrative skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.Proficiency with computer systems and reservation software is an asset.Personal Attributes:A positive and welcoming attitude.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.Transportation:Due to our location, reliable personal transportation is necessary. There is no public transportation.
To be considered for this co-op position, applicants must meet the following criteria: Enrollment Status: Must be a current NSCC student in good academic standing and returning to your program for classes in the Fall. Graduating students are not eligible for co-op. Academic Continuity: Must be returning to your current program for full-time study in the Fall Term. Program Requirement: Must be enrolled in an eligible program that has a co-op course. Tuition Requirement: The co-op course is an elective first-year course in your program that occurs in the Spring/Summer semester. There is a tuition fee for this course. Approval Requirement: All co-op experiences must be approved by your faculty or Academic Chair and sent to workexperience@nscc.ca in order to receive credit towards your NSCC credential.
