To hire a Real Estate Marketing and Administrative Assistant Monday-Friday 35 hours per week with the potential of working part time after completion of the Coop term Duties Include
1. Process and file all real estate documents, contracts, and lease agreements, ensuring compliance standards and monitor strict transaction deadlines
2. Communicate and coordinate with clients, lawyers, mortgage lenders and inspectors
3. Handle and coordinate all scheduling: ie listing photos staging home inspections signage listing appointments etc
4. Manage listing inputs in the Multiple Listing Services MLS
5. Maintain client database and transaction management system
6. Communicate with tenants, landlords, and vendors to address inquiries and assist in resolving issues, and facilitate service requests promptly
7. Marketing Efforts:
a. Participate in creation of biweekly newsletter content
b. Compile market stats and data for newsletter and geo farming
c. Manage posts to social media
d. Manage ad campaigns: scheduling and corresponding with designers
e. Prepare marketing documents
8. Accounting: invoicing, process rent payments, record monthly cash flow for operating entities and managed properties.
9. Coordinate maintenance scheduling for property manager
A priority will be given to a self starter who is willing to learn and take the initiative to complete projects and tasks. Knowledge of any of the following - Canva, Mailchimp and social media, basic accounting,
Strong communication skills both verbal and written are an asset. An interest in real estate, social media and marketing would be beneficial. A high level of detail and desire to work in a professional environment where we enjoy ourselves and work as a team.
Co-op Position Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for this co-op position, applicants must meet the following criteria: Enrollment Status: Must be a current NSCC student in good academic standing and returning to your program for classes in the Fall. Graduating students are not eligible for co-op.
Academic Continuity: Must be returning to your current program for full-time study in the Fall Term. Program Requirement: Must be enrolled in an eligible program that has a co-op course. International Students Permit Requirement: International students must possess a valid co-op work permit from the Government of Canada with no restrictions that would prevent them from engaging in the described co-op work.
Tuition Requirement: The co-op course is an elective first-year course in your program that occurs in the Spring/Summer semester. There is a tuition fee for this course.
Approval Requirement: All co-op experiences must be approved by your faculty or Academic Chair and sent to workexperience@nscc.ca in order to receive credit towards your NSCC credential. Please check in with your Faculty Advisor before accepting any job offer.
