Challenge Nova Scotia 2025
NSCC Libraries is pleased to support Challenge Nova Scotia again! This year’s competition is Friday, Nov. 14. An important requirement for this competition is ensuring the teams provide credit for ideas and works created by others (i.e. authors and photographers). This is called Academic Integrity and you can learn more by visiting the Academic Integrity Guide.
2025 Challenge Question
AI is rapidly changing the world and there's such an exciting opportunity for Nova Scotia to lead the way. With the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in mind, how might we position Nova Scotia as a leader in responsible AI, ensuring that innovation goes hand in hand with protecting jobs, integrity, equity, and of course environmental sustainability.
Academic Integrity
All Challenge Nova Scotia participants must participate in a brief Academic Integrity session on the morning of the competition. This session will provide an overview of the Academic Integrity requirements and offer an opportunity for participants to ask questions.
This video provides an overview of academic integrity expectations for Challenge Nova Scotia.
