English as an Additional Language (EAL) supports
One-on-one support is available to help you strengthen your English language skills in listening, speaking (including pronunciation), and reading. For the 2020-2021 academic year, NSCC EAL Supports will be provided online using Microsoft Teams. Workshop schedules will be posted below throughout the 2020-2021 academic year.

Options for accessing EAL support
- Review the EAL Support Guide for resources and to practice your listening, speaking (including pronunciation), reading, and vocabulary-building skills
- Participate in workshops and drop-in sessions online
- Arrange for one-on-one EAL support by contacting your Student Services Advisor or by booking an appointment directly

Booking an appointment
Schedule an appointment with an NSCC EAL Support Specialist. Appointments can be 30 minutes or 60 minutes in length. Visit the EAL Support Connect Page for a booking information (NSCC Office 365 login required).
