Learning Supports

NSCC provides resources, services and programming that support you in your learning such as Research Help, Writing Supports and EAL Supports. Additional services include:

• Technology Supports: Information on how to get started with Brightspace and other college technologies. This also includes Assistive Technology.
• Testing Services: Find out how to access NSCC’s Testing Centres and schedule a test.
• Tutoring and Peer Academic Supports: Connect with an online tutoring service for NSCC students called Pear Deck Tutor (formerly TutorMe).
• Learning Supports Resource Guides are collections of videos, websites, databases and books to help you with college readiness and academic skills.
• College 101: Explore College 101: Study, Strategize, and Succeed to learn about setting goals, College supports, managing your time, taking notes, study strategies and more.
