Learning Supports
NSCC provides resources, services and programming that support you in your learning such as Research Help, Writing Supports and EAL Supports. Additional services include:
- Technology Supports: Information on how to get started with Brightspace and other college technologies. This also includes Assistive Technology.
- Peer Academic Supports: Peer Assisted Learning Supports (PALS) is a program where peers support peers in learning.
- Learning Supports Resource Guides are collections of videos, websites, databases and books to help you with college readiness and academic skills.
- College 101: Explore College 101: Study, Strategize, and Succeed to learn about setting goals, College supports, managing your time, taking notes, study strategies and more.
Testing services
NSCC’s Testing Centres offer test proctoring for students with an approved accommodation request, students who are taking online courses, and those who are writing the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) exam.
