Truro Campus Library's Pronoun Stickers

Pronoun stickers help remove the guesswork about how to address someone and encourage conversations about identity and respect. When pronouns are displayed openly, we are reminded that identities are diverse and personal, and that it is okay to ask, share, or simply listen.

For some, pronoun stickers feel like a small way to show allyship. For others, they create a sense of safety and affirmation that might not have been guaranteed before. Pronoun visibility helps reduce assumptions and encourages everyone to approach interactions with curiosity and care. It signals that our community understands that pronouns are not preferences - they are part of a person’s identity.
