March 6-10 2023 is Open Education Week!

An international week to celebrate and share how we are using open educational resources (OER).

For more information, visit the NSCC Open Education Week 2023 guide.

NSCC sessions planned during Open Education Week include:

  1. Open Pedagogy Initiatives at NSCC
    Wednesday, March 8th, 12:30 p.m.
The open education movement is more than just open resources. Join Kate Snyder and Kristina Parlee to learn about current Open Pedagogy Initiatives at NSCC.
  2. OER Basics
    Thursday, March 9th, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
If you need an introduction or refresher on what makes instructional content an OER, why it important, how YOU can use it, and what supports are available at NSCC to help you -- this session is for you.

  3. Open Textbooks and Interactivity
    Friday, March 10th, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
This session will explore some of the tools available to insert interactivity into an open textbook. It is surprisingly easy! Join us to learn how you can start using these tools.
