Indigenous Student Support Program

Dedicated supports for Indigenous students

The Indigenous Student Support Program is designed to help Indigenous students at NSCC by addressing every day financial issues that can get in the way of academic success. Financial challenges may include access to childcare, transportation costs, food insecurity, unexpected health expenses, or family emergencies.

In addition to students’ financial needs, the fund also supports hosting an Indigenous Elder from the community on campus to provide a safe space for students to seek guidance and counsel.
