Summer 2026 Update

Change, compassion and community

As NSCC navigates a period of financial pressure driven by rising costs, changing enrolment dynamics and reductions in provincial funding, the College remains focused on its core mission: providing accessible, high-quality education and supporting the success of students across Nova Scotia.

During times of challenge and change, the work of the NSCC Foundation becomes even more significant. More than a source of financial support, the Foundation represents a community of donors, alumni, partners and champions who believe in the transformative power of education and the potential of every student.

Through your generosity, opportunities are created every day that might not otherwise exist. Student awards and bursaries, emergency assistance, applied learning experiences, innovation initiatives, specialized equipment and student supports help remove barriers and empower learners to achieve their goals.

As stewards of your generosity, we remain committed to ensuring that every contribution creates meaningful and measurable impact where it is needed most. We hope that this update helps illustrate the impact of your investment in helping students turn opportunity into achievement.
