Applied Information Technology generates new ideas and devises feasible IT solutions for Nova Scotian businesses and community partners.

Our newest research area, Information Technology Applied Research (ITAR) develops and improves upon payment security, mobile applications and risk analysis and mitigation. This new research area is led by Trishla Shah, who has an extensive background in data analysis, machine learning, networks, Internet of things, and mobile applications.

ITAR is ready work with a wide range of sectors, including healthcare and the green economy, to help companies develop mobile apps, enhance cyber security measures, and collect, analysis and better understand complex data sets.
