International applicants: new study permit cap

The Government of Canada (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) has announced a study permit cap.

Current study permit holders will not be affected by this new intake cap.

NSCC, and all post-secondaries, are working with government to understand how this will impact each institution. As a result, applicants can expect delays in processing times and should be aware of the possibility that fewer study permits may be awarded.
