Campus Housing at the Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS) combines the convenience of being connected to all campus amenities with suite-style housing, making it the ideal home for both first-year students and those studying in graduate certificate programs.

2026 Spring Term applications for current NSCC students

To apply you must use your NSCC username (w# + @campus.nscc.ca) and password. If you need help with your Login or password, please click on trouble signing in

Please Note:

  • Priority will be given to confirmed applicants and current students studying at COGS. We also accept campus housing applications from students at the Annapolis Valley Campus location in Middleton, who may receive a room offer if space is available.
  • 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom suite options are limited and only assigned as part of our accessibility considerations process.

Capacity: 35 student rooms
Room types: 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 4-bedroom suites.

  • Shared common space with flat-screen TV
  • Shared culinary area (bottom freezer refrigerator, induction stovetop, pots/pans, countertop microwave)
4-bedroom suite with two washrooms (one with shower, one with shower/tub)
  • Private bedrooms
  • Double-sized beds (extra long)
  • Bedside tables
  • Dressers and wardrobes
  • Desks with desk chairs
  • Lounge chairs
  • Shared common space with flat-screen TV

Living on campus offers the ease of an all-inclusive living environment from September to April which includes:

Dining

Students living at COGS are automatically enrolled in a $750/term dining dollars program, offered through the full-service cafeteria. Additional options are offered for students wishing to participate at a greater level.

Costs and payment dates

All rates and fees are payable through your campus Business Office (902-825-3491) and are determined based on fair market averages, as well as individual campus offerings and services. The non-refundable/non-transferrable campus housing deposit of $500 will be attributed to your fall term payment.

*Campus housing fees listed above for COGS include $750/term dining dollars, all utilities, high speed internet (Wi-Fi) and parking. Students have the opportunity to choose additional dining dollar options.

Spring 2026

The fees listed below are per student and based on a weekly rate (Tuesday – Tuesday) to coincide with the beginning and end of the Spring term.

Campus housing fees listed above for COGS for the Spring 2026 term include utilities, high speed internet (Wi-Fi), laundry and parking only. HST applies to those students not currently in NSCC Campus Housing and whose stay is less than 30 days.

Campus housing fees listed above do not include a mandatory dining component; most campus food services are reduced or unavailable during the Spring and Summer terms.
