Akerley Campus summer housing and conference rental​

Thank you for your interest in our summer accommodations. Rentals at the Akerley Campus are now at capacity for the 2026 season.

During the spring and summer, Akerley Campus offers housing rooms, classrooms, conference rooms, cafeteria, theatre, and other campuses spaces for rent at reasonable rates, within steps from public transit.    

During fall and winter, classrooms, conference rooms, cafeteria, theatre, and other campuses spaces are available for rental.

Who can book?

Campus housing rooms are available to:

  • NSCC students 
  • Other post-secondary students 
  • Small or large groups who are booking for a conference or other educational event 
  • Those looking to book a medium to large block of rooms 

Accommodations

  • Campus housing at Akerley Campus combines the convenience of being connected to all campus amenities with suite-style housing.

  • Capacity: 98 bed facility, with a combination of private bedrooms in 1-bedroom, and 4-bedroom shared suite style 
  • Bed type: Twin beds 
  • Laundry: Washers and dryers are available on all floors 
  • Air-Conditioned Facility

  • Flexible check-in and check-out options upon request 
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi

  • 1-bedroom suite with full washroom: twin size bed; bedside table; dresser and wardrobe; desk; lounge chair; flat-screen TV; small kitchenette space (convection oven-microwave, full size fridge, induction stove top pots, pans, basic cutlery, basic utensils and kitchen staples).
  • 3-bedroom suite with two full washrooms (one barrier free): private bedrooms: twin beds, bedside tables, dressers, and wardrobes; desks, desk chairs, lounge chairs, one bedroom barrier free Built to Rick Hansen Foundation Accessible Certification gold standard; shared common space with flat-screen TV; shared kitchenette (convection oven-microwave, full size fridge, induction stove top pots, pans, basic cutlery, basic utensils and kitchen staples).    
  • 4-bedroom suite with two washrooms: private bedrooms: twin beds, bedside tables, dressers, and wardrobes; desks, desk chairs, lounge chairs; shared common space with flat-screen TV; shared kitchenette (convection oven-microwave, full size fridge, induction stove top pots, pans, basic cutlery, basic utensils and kitchen staples).
