Dates and deadlines for 2026/2027 Academic year
- August 7, 2026 - Campus Housing Fees (Fall Term) due for September students
- September 6, 2026 – Campus Housing Fall Term Move-in Day (Process varies by campus)
- December 17, 2026 – Campus Housing closes for Fall Term
- January 3, 2027 – Campus Housing Winter Term Move-in Day
- January 4, 2027 – Campus Housing Fees (Winter Term) due
- April 17, 2027 – Campus Housing Move-Out Day
- April 25, 2027 - Campus Housing Spring Term Move-in Day
2026 Spring Term application dates and deadlines (current NSCC students)
- February 19 2026 – Spring Term applications open for Akerley, Annapolis Valley - Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS), Ivany, Pictou, Strait Area and Truro campuses.
- March 6, 2026 – First round of offers for the 2026 Spring Term. All offers after March 6th will be subject to availability.
- April 10, 2026 – Spring term fees are due.
- April 12, 2026 – Spring Term application closes.
- April 21, 2026 – Spring Term Campus Housing move-in day.
Room assignments and roommates
Students are notified of their room assignments and roommates in August, after the first term housing fees are received.
Campus housing room transfers will not be considered during the first 2 weeks of each academic term, except for changes required for medical reasons. Room transfers are based on the merit of the request and are not first come, first considered. Offers will be made to help resolve specific issues, not accommodate personal preferences.
