Your Student ID
Your Student ID card is an important piece of identification that will help you:
- Show that you are an NSCC student while on campus
- Request and borrow library materials from NSCC and other Novanet libraries
- Get discounts available exclusively to students
- Access public transportation (where available)
To apply for your NSCC Student ID you must be an enrolled NSCC student with a valid w# and password. Please note: Students are not enrolled in our ID system until a few weeks before classes commence so there may be a delay in processing your ID from the time of request.
Apply for your Student ID
Follow these steps:
- Make sure your name and contact details are up to date in your MyNSCC profile (log-in required). If your address is incorrect or has changed, contact your campus Student Services Team to have it updated.

Please ensure your photo meets all the following requirements. Photos that do not meet these requirements will be declined and you will be asked to resubmit.

If you are a Nova Scotia resident and don’t have a government issued photo ID, you can apply for a Nova Scotia Photo Identification Card at any Access Nova Scotia location for a small fee.
The government issued photo ID verification will be deleted from the system immediately after your Student ID is printed.
