- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using computer applications such as Microsoft Office 365, especially Teams.
- Experience working with students in tutoring or any other related leadership roles is an asset, but not a requirement.
- Experience working with students with a disability is an asset, but not a requirement.
Things to know
Tutors on the NSCC Private Tutor list can set their own tutor rates and hours. All wages, schedules and payment arrangements are the responsibility of the involved parties (e.g. tutor and student) and do not involve NSCC.How it works
If you sign up to join NSCC's Private Tutor Community, your name and contact information will be added to a list that our Student Services team references when we receive a tutor request from a student.
You may be contacted directly by the student or by a member of the Student Services team to determine if you are available for tutoring. You and the student will make all the tutoring arrangements (payment, location, schedule).
