Travelling to Grenada for the Blue Economy Tourism program through NSCC International has truly been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Never in my life have I been able to explore a foreign country so deeply with such like-minded people. The wonderful staff and students of TAMCC went above and beyond to make sure each of our days was action-packed and culturally immersive. Every single day, I either learned or experienced something new, and I am beyond grateful that both NSCC International and TAMCC put so much time and effort into making these types of trips possible.

This was a trip of many firsts for me, fellow NSCC students, and even a lot of the TAMCC students. Our itinerary included unique experiences such as river tubing, a Caribbean night at True Blue, a visit to the River Antoine Estate rum distillery, and much more. My personal favourite activities were river tubing and visiting the famous Underwater Sculpture Park. Both of these activities created amazing bonding experiences between Nova Scotian and Grenadian students. Many of us had never been tubing or snorkelling before, so despite our cultural differences, we all got to share our excitement, fear, adrenaline, etc. This was a beautiful way to bond together and create some unforgettable memories!
