Project/Initiative
The Empowerment through Skills Program (ESP) supports the economic empowerment of women and adolescent girls with skills training and tailored support through their transition to employment or self-employment.
ESP strengthens the capacity of FDCs (Folk Development College) and CBOs (Community-based Organization) in Tanzania to develop and deliver effective gender responsive skills training programs specifically targeting women and adolescent girls.
The project will support efforts of the Government of Tanzania to achieve gender equality as stated in the National development Vision 2025, and the National Plan of Action to End Violence Against Women and Children
