About the Position

 

  • Conduct maintenance duties on a variety of aircraft under the guidance of the AME Lead Hand.
  • Report any issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations in all maintenance activities.
  • Perform fueling operations for various aircraft.
  • Assist passengers and flight crew with requests or baggage as needed.
  • Undertake general hangar cleanup and organization tasks.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program (consideration will be given to candidates willing to undergo training).
  • Possession of a valid Canadian driver’s license with no restrictions.
  • Clean criminal record check.
  • Ability to acquire restricted area clearance.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Work Permit holder).
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in tight spaces.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to use basic tools and a toolbox.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Experience towing a trailer and possession of a Class 3 Driver’s License considered an asset.
  • Previous aviation experience preferred but not required.
