Admissions

Getting Started
Apply online – You can access, complete and submit an application online. Before applying, check to see if your program has openings - view program openings.
Apply Early – We accept and admit qualified applicants for all programs on a 'first received, first qualified' basis. It is important that you apply early to avoid missing the opportunity to be admitted to your chosen program.
Options and Opportunities – NSCC is a partner with the Nova Scotia Department of Education's Options and Opportunities (O2) pathways program. This initiative provides O2 high school students a chance to link their career interests with NSCC programs. O2 students and parents should contact their high school O2 coordinator or guidance counsellor to learn more about the requirements and obligations O2 students have under this arrangement.
Apply in Grade 11 – NSCC now accepts applications from Grade 11 students who have a clear understanding of their future career goals and how NSCC programs can help them achieve them. Students can now apply anytime in their Grade 11 year. Once in Grade 12, you will need to submit your transcript prior to October 1st.
